Comprehensive, in-depth training

We provide you with two weeks of in-depth classroom training at our headquarters, followed by a lengthy hands-on training period in one or more of our restaurants. Our Opening Team will also be with you for one week before your restaurant opens, and for one week after you’ve opened. We’re there to train your staff and make sure the quality standards are maintained and your first guests instantly become loyal ones.

Café Yumm!, and the real estate experts we work with, can help you find a great location that works for you. We’ve come to know the attributes of a site that allows you to maximize your restaurant's potential.

Quality and Freshness are Paramount

In order to maintain our high quality standards, all franchisees must procure select supplies and ingredients from the Café Yumm! internal supply store. Over 50% of our ingredients are Certified Organic, and we locally source as much as possible. Of course, we’ve worked out advantageous bulk buying contracts with our suppliers.

Your supplies will be delivered at the height of freshness by our dedicated Café Yumm! delivery fleet.

How we do it

We provide detailed operations manuals and job briefs loaded with techniques, procedures, recommendations, and guidelines. In addition, our Management Team has an open-door policy, and even give franchisees their cell phone numbers, should any operational questions/issues come up.

Reaching your customers

Café Yumm! currently runs three company-wide promotions a year to help drive customers to your door. We also provide you with a comprehensive marketing plan that’s tailored to your location and local conditions. Plus, you’ll get our weekly newsletter, Food For Thought, and have access to a full book of professionally created marketing materials.

Putting it all together

To help you succeed, you will be partnered with a Dedicated Franchise Consultant. This expert will call you once a week, to help you with any issues you may have. Plus, they’ll visit your restaurant regularly to meet with you, work with your staff and provide recommendations where needed. Your consultant is there to help you directly, or refer you to another person within our organization for business advice, operational support, equipment upkeep, customer service issues, vendor relations, coaching, confidant, financial review, bookkeeping services (AP, AR, payroll, tax payments, etc), marketing plans and implementation, general legal questions, lease negotiations and audits, and much more.
